Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a method of psychological treatment that uses artistic tools in the context of a therapeutic process. It is a way for people to express themselves emotionally, symbolically, metaphorically, allowing a significant reorganization of internal objects and producing effects on the ability to imagine, think and creativity.

Many of the works that are used in art therapy are a way of integrating the deep experiences that people experience in our works and retreats of this project. On the other hand, it helps people to be in contact and connection with themselves and with the nature around them, finding in those moments an inner peace and eventually an answer to their problems and uncertainties.

Some of the artistic tools we use are painting, drawing, creating mandalas, modeling, collages, through soul-collage, drama and its dramatic games, body expression, music, singing, poetry and creative free writing. Other forms we use are inspired by shamanic contexts, where we create drums, shakers, kuripes, god’s eyes, dreamcatchers, talking sticks, natural incense and various other objects of shamanic origin.
