Shamanic Practices Training | 10 Days
23 April – 2 May 2027
Quinta São José dos Montes – Tomar, Portugal
Shamanism represents one of humanity’s oldest expressions of our relationship with Nature, the spiritual world, and the mysteries of consciousness. Over thousands of years, different cultures have developed practices, rituals, and cosmologies that seek to understand our connection to the Earth, the cycles of life, and the deeper dimensions of existence.
In this 10-day residential training, we invite you to immerse yourself in the world of shamanic practices, bridging traditional knowledge, Core Shamanism, Transpersonal Psychology, and the exploration of Expanded States of Consciousness.
Through shamanic drumming journeys, ritual dance, breathwork, music, shamanic art, rites of passage, and nature-based practices, we will explore different pathways to self-discovery, expression, and personal transformation.
Throughout this training, we will also deepen our understanding of the symbolism of the four elements, the Medicine Wheel, power animals, and the different dimensions of shamanic cosmology. We will integrate practices of inner exploration related to shadow work, the inner child, ancestral connections, and symbolic soul retrieval.
Our purpose is to train practitioners in shamanic practices, rather than to train shamans. We recognize that the path of a traditional shaman is deeply rooted in culture, community, the transmission of knowledge, and the initiation processes specific to each tradition.
We aim to provide a comprehensive, ethical, and experiential training through which participants can develop the skills to integrate these practices into their personal lives and, within the boundaries of their professional qualifications and experience, into their work supporting others.
Ethics, respect for Indigenous cultures, informed consent, psychological safety, and harm reduction are fundamental principles throughout the entire training.
