You are warmly invited to enter the Sweatlodge, an ancient ceremony of prayer, purification, and return to the womb of the Earth. Inside the lodge we sit together in darkness, as generations have done before us. The stones are heated by the fire and brought into the lodge, carrying the deep memory of the Earth. When water touches them, steam rises and fills the space with a warm living breath. We receive it with every inhale, and through sweat we release what we are ready to return to the Earth. In this space of heat, breath, prayer, and song, we remember our connection with nature, with one another, and with ourselves. This ceremony takes place under the First Quarter Moon, the phase when the seed begins to break open beneath the soil. It is a moon of movement, courage, and the first steps toward what is ready to grow in our lives. The circle is open to those who feel the call. No previous experience is needed — only sincerity and presence. What to bring • A bottle of water • A towel or natural cloth to sit on inside the lodge (it will get dirty) • Natural clothing (please avoid synthetic fabrics) • A meaningful object for the altar • Flowers if you feel inspired to bring beauty to the space • Extra blankets are warmly welcomed After the ceremony we will share a simple miso soup together. You are welcome to bring plant-based snacks to contribute to the table.
